The number of active COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County grew by 39 on June 25, and the county added 58 new cases overall, the Montgomery County Public Health District and the Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management reported.



Montgomery County now has recorded 1,889 total COVID-19 cases, 763 of which are currently active. Nearly 58% of cases in the county have recovered, including 19 new recoveries June 25.



Hospitalizations of county residents with COVID-19 have remained in the mid-teens over the past week and rose by two June 25 to reach 15 total. Total hospitalizations in county facilities—including residents of other counties—rose slightly to 112, with 90 confirmed cases in general beds and 22 in intensive care unit beds, according to data from the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council.
