The YMCA of Greater Houston announced it will be opening more amenities effective June 15 as part of its phased approach to fully reopening.

According to a press release from the organization, the following amenities are now available for use by members.

• Wellness centers
• Child-watch programming for age 3 and up while parents use the facility
• Select indoor group exercise classes
• Water walking
• Indoor track use
• Family swim
• Outdoor youth and family programming
• Use of family and private change rooms

The YMCA of Greater Houston is asking its members to arrive in workout attire, bring and wear a mask, download the YMCA of Greater Houston app for digital card use and reserve a spot for activities, as capacity is limited.

Safety measures are still in place, which include frequent temperature checks, daily facility cleanings, face coverings for all staff and having a single exit and entrance for members. The YMCA of Greater Houston reopened in its first phase June 1, with select locations opening.
