According to a press release from LSC, the employee became symptomatic March 22 and was tested the same day. The results of the test came back positive March 26.
The release states the employee was on the Cy-Fair campus March 18, and access to campuses was limited to select employees. No students were on campus due to an extended spring break.
All LSC facilities will remain closed until April 6 for employees and April 13 for students. Sanitation of campus buildings is ongoing and anticipated to be completed prior to April 6.
