According to the agenda posted online, the final approval of the interlocal agreement with the city of Shenandoah is listed under the consent agenda. If approved, the agreement will prefund $4 million to Shenandoah to begin preliminary research and design work on the restoration and installation of water and sewer utilities to the historic community of Tamina. Funds for the project will come through the county's American Rescue Plan Act funds.
Under the executive session portion of the agenda, the court is expected to discuss an “appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal” relating to the director of building maintenance as well as a position in the Office of Court Administration.
Commissioners and the county judge will also discuss and nominate the representatives to the Houston-Galveston Area Council general assembly and board of directors for 2023.
The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Alan B. Sadler Building at 501 N. Thompson St., Conroe, and will be livestreamed online as well.
