Montgomery County Animal Shelter announced via Facebook on July 11 that all adoption fees have been waived indefinitely, as the shelter has more than 900 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

According to MCAS, the shelter took in 80 animals July 10 alone, and is in need of adopters, fosters, volunteers and rescue groups to help alleviate overcrowding at the shelter.
