As part of The Woodlands Township study on incorporation, the board of directors have set a date for the first community forum in which the public is encouraged to learn more and ask questions regarding The Woodland's path to potentially becoming a city. The meeting has been scheduled for Sept. 25 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, located at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive. "This meeting is intended to address FAQs that we’ve derived through the incorporation process and have a larger audience and get public feedback on the process, explain the balance of the process share what we’ve already learned, Township Chairman Gordy Bunch said. "By Sept. 25, we should be able to present the public safety, the pavement and potentially the infrastructure and management alternatives. Then we’d be able to address any open question that might come up to a larger audience."
