Taking over the former Gran Plaza venue center, Haus 45 is a live music and entertainment venue aimed toward small-crowd performances in a club-type setting. The location is expected to provide VIP and general admission parking as well as a variety of cocktails and other small bites.

The coffee trailer located along FM 1488 is now open, owner Elyssa Perez said in a Nov. 15 email. The coffee trailer offers customers drinks, such as lattes and cappuccinos. Perez also said the business features a rotating seasonal menu.

Capital One Cafe is a new space in The Woodlands Mall to grab coffee and food, connect to free Wi-Fi, or sit and relax. Guests do not need to bank with Capital One to use the cafe.

In addition to brisket, pulled pork and sausage, the truck offers chicken on Thursdays, and customers can call ahead for ribs a day in advance. Other favorite items are brisket burritos and a macaroni and cheese bowl, Shock said.
