‘Land swap’ with Howard Hughes Corp. proposed for Grogan's Mill Village Center

Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack announced in a news release May 16 a “land swap” proposal between the county and The Howard Hughes Corp. for Grogan's Mill Village Center. The swap would involve Howard Hughes receiving the current South Regional Library and South County Community Center property, and the county receiving the Grogan’s Mill Village Center space.

Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake makes Texas debut in Katy

International Japanese-bakery Uncle Tetsu is coming soon to the Katy Grand shopping center in Katy. Construction on the dessert shop for takeout-only cheesecakes is estimated to conclude in June, per project filings from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

TEA suggests Houston ISD board members serve as 'liaisons' to community as state takeover nears

Several Conroe ISD schools expected to be overcapacity next school year
