Celebrating one year in The Woodlands, Third Gen Coffee released its Space City Blend in June to commemorate its ties to Houston.

Owned by husband and wife Marlon Reyes and Rachel Lanigan, Third Gen Coffee opened in The Woodlands in June 2017. Lanigan said the Space City Blend is a combination of Honduran and Ethiopian coffee from their international farms.

“Our Honduran coffee is very rich and has a dark chocolate [and] almond flavor, and the Ethiopian coffee has a very fruity flavor, so the Space City Blend is a really nice balance between the two,” Lanigan said.

Lanigan said the Space City Blend iced latte has become a popular choice among customers this summer. The beverage includes a shot of Space City Blend espresso and milk poured over ice. The drink is available in three different sizes—12, 16 or 20 ounces for $3.50, $4 or $4.50, respectively.

Retail bags of the Space City Blend will soon be available for $12 for patrons to brew at home.
