The Woodlands Township Community Tree Planting
Feb. 18

This annual event is part of the township’s Reforestation Program. Volunteers will plant loblolly pine saplings as well as 5-, 15- and 30-gallon hardwood trees in pre-dug holes. Officials with The Woodlands Township’s Forestry Division will be onsite to guide and supervise volunteers. Free. Touch-a-Truck
Feb. 18

Touch-a-Truck encourages children to become more familiar with vehicles of all types, including various construction equipment. The first hour of this event will be noise-free and sensory friendly, and at 10 a.m. there will be horns and sirens. A designated zone will be open for crafts and games. Free. Once Upon A Time Family Day Out

This event, hosted by Mommy Trade, provides fun for the whole family. The first 50 moms to arrive will receive a Sprouts Bag. Additionally, there will be 50 coffee giveaways, Chick-fil-A coupon giveaways and Molly’s Suds samples. Various vendors, local businesses, $12 face painting, free photo opportunities with Cinderella and Tinker Bell and a free princess lip color station will be on site. PuppyUp Walk

Take a 1-mile stroll through Rob Fleming Park to increase awareness for canine cancer and raise funds for research. Check in and registration begins at noon, and the walk will begin at 2 p.m. The event will also include a vendor fair, silent auction, demonstrations and live entertainment. Lake Woodlands Scavenger Hunt

Navigate Lake Woodlands from a kayak, and collect as many scavenger hunt objects as possible during this monthly event. Participants ages 10 and older can compete in a solo kayak for $25.
