Sugar Land’s Cabrera Drive will undergo rehabilitation in 2026 as it reaches the end of its usable life.

At a Nov. 18 meeting, Sugar Land City Council unanimously approved an interlocal project agreement with Fort Bend County for the rehabilitation.
The project involves milling and overlay rehabilitation of 1,700 feet of Cabrera Drive, with the city funding $50,000 in materials and the county contributing equipment and labor for the work, according to agenda documents.
