More homes were sold in Sugar Land- and Missouri City-area ZIP codes in April compared to last April, with 258 homes sold versus 250 last year. Additionally, more homes were sold than last month in March, when 226 homes were sold across five local ZIP codes.

Three of five local ZIP codes saw more home sales year over year, with ZIP code 77478 seeing more than a 127% increase in that time period. However, the ZIP code has one of the fewest home sales compared to other ZIP codes.The median home sales price rose in four of five local ZIP codes year over year. The largest spike was in ZIP code 77478, which saw a more than 32% increase. It also had the highest median home sales price of $527,000.Overall, homes in the $250,000-$449,999 price range sold the most frequently in April.

Meanwhile, the average number of days homes spent on the market increased in three of five local ZIP codes, signaling slower home sales in those ZIP codes.
