Oct. 1-3: Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo

The Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo began Sept. 24 at the fairgrounds in Rosenberg. The event includes livestock and rodeo shows, a farmers market, a crawfish boil and a barbecue cook-off. The Fort Bend County Fair Association will also award $4,000 in scholarships to high school seniors. Free (children age 5 and under), $5 (children ages 6-11), $15 (over age 11). Oct. 1: Opry on the Square

Oct. 2: Boho Market

The Boho Market is coming to Sugar Land for the first time. Oct. 3: Raxx Vintage Market

The resolution denouncing Williams' behavior came after a former district employee alleged she mistreated him because of his race and gender, according district documents.
