As of 7:31 a.m., Nov. 9, incumbents Robin Elackatt and Lynn Clouser have won their races for Missouri City mayor and at-large Position 2 on Missouri City City Council, while Sonya Brown-Marshall won over incumbent Vashaundra Edwards for at-large Position 1, according to voting data provided by Fort Bend County.

In the Missouri City mayoral race, Elackatt took home 13,272 votes, or 56.15%. His opponent, Yolanda Ford, received 10,366 votes, or 43.85%.

Brown-Marshall won the race for at-large Position 1 with 13,027 votes, or 60.65%. Edwards, meanwhile, received 8,452 votes, or 39.35%.

In the race for at-large Position 2, Clouser received 16,880 votes, or 78.75%, while her opponent, Bruce Zaborowski, received 4,555 votes, or 21.25%.


Results reflect 82 of 82 Fort Bend County Election Day polling locations.

Incumbent Robin Elackatt, Sonya Brown-Marshall and incumbent Lynn Clouser are leading their races for mayor, at-large Position 1 and at-large Position 2, respectively, according to Fort Bend County voting data.


Elackatt leads the mayoral race with 12,146 votes, or 57.46%; Brown-Marshall leads the at-large Position 1 race with 11,698 votes, or 60.93%; and Clouser leads the at-large Position 2 race with 15,116 votes, or 78.88%.

Early-voting results for three positions on the Missouri City City Council are in, and incumbent Robin Elackatt, Sonya Brown-Marshall and incumbent Lynn Clouser are leading early in the races for mayor, at-large Position 1 and at-large Position 2, respectively, according to early-voting data provided by Fort Bend County.

In the mayoral race, Elackatt leads Yolanda Ford with 10,644 votes, or 57.96%. Ford has 7,720 votes, at 42.04%. Elackatt was first sworn in as mayor Dec. 21, 2020. Prior to this, Elackatt served as District C Council member from 2009-15.


For the race for Position 1, Brown-Marshall leads over incumbent Vashaundra Edwards with 10,090 votes, or 60.41%. Edwards has 6,613 votes, or 39.59%. Edwards was elected to her position Nov. 6, 2018.

In the third Missouri City race for Position 2, Clouser leads with 13,304 votes, or 79.74% of the vote, while Bruce Zaborowski has 3,381 votes, or 20.26%. Clouser took office in December 2020.
