Missouri City residents will elect four district council members during the Nov. 2 election. Interested candidates have until 5 p.m. Aug. 16 to file their application.
The application, election packet and additional information can be found on Missouri City's election website.
Applications can be submitted:
- in person Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the office of Planning, Permits & Inspections at 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City;
- by mail to the city of Missouri City, Attn: Maria Jackson, 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City, Texas 77489;

- by email to [email protected].
Those elected in November will serve three-year terms from November 2021 to November 24. This will be the first set of council members to serve three-year terms after residents approved a charter amendment extending the term length from two to three years in May.
