FBISD to hold Transition Resource Fair for families, students

The Fort Bend ISD Department of Special Education will hold a Transition Resource Fair on April 9 at the James Reese Career and Technical Center, 12300 University Blvd., Sugar Land. The event will begin at 10 a.m. This free event aims to provide information to families of middle and high school students with special needs, but it will be open to everyone.


In addition to a panel discussion, vendors will represent financial and legal organizations as well as post-secondary institutions and support services. Vendors include those listed below.

  • Arc of Fort Bend

  • Houston Community College-VAST Academy

  • The Handley Law Group

  • Brazos Bend Guardianship

  • Camp Blessing Texas

  • Fort Bend Transit

  • The University of Houston Connecting to College Program

  • 18 and Beyond Special Services
