Monday


Fort Bend ISD board of trustees meeting
The FBISD trustees meet at 6 p.m. in the Administration Building, 16431 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land. This is the first board meeting after Saturday's trustees election in which incumbents KP George, Jason Burdine and Kristin Tassin retained their seats.

Agenda items include a 2017-18 budget update, a bond program update and proposed namings of two agricultural centers. www.fortbendisd.com

Sugar Land Planning and Zoning Commission
A public hearing will be held at this week's Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to address the proposed rezoning of about 15.2 acres in the Imperial Ballpark tract B for single-family homes. The land is located along Imperial Boulevard and Stadium Drive,  directly across Imperial Boulevard from the intersection of Silent Manor Drive. 6:30 p.m., 2700 Town Center Blvd. North, Sugar Land. www.sugarlandtx.gov

Fort Bend County Commissioners Court
The Commissioners Courts will hold a regular agenda meeting at 1 p.m. on the second floor of 401 Jackson St., Richmond. Agenda items include  approving a request for proposals to expand and renovate the Missouri City Library branch, approving finds for roof repair of the old Missouri City Middle School gym, and scheduling June 6 and June 13 public hearings for Community Development Block Grant funds for disaster relief. www.fortbendcountytx.gov

Missouri City Planning and Zoning Commission
The commission meets at 7 p.m. at Missouri City City Hall, 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City. Agenda items include approval of plats for Sienna Plantation, Mustang Trails, and a concept plan of a new subdivision Parks Edge.

Chamber Young Professionals Network Nights
