Nationwide craft chain Michaels has opened a new location in Missouri City’s Fort Bend Town Center, company officials confirmed in an email.

What they offer

The store offers a selection of products in various categories such as arts, crafts, framing, floral, yarn, beading and scrapbooking as well as a custom framing center, according to a Sept. 29 news release.

“Michaels is the one-stop-shop for all things creation and celebration,” Mark Johnson, executive vice president and chief operations officer, said in the release. “Getting closer to our customers allows us to provide them with not only a destination to shop, but also a place to get inspired. We’re proud to be bringing even more of that inspiration to the creative community of Missouri City.”

What else?

The Missouri City location is one of several new stores that features self-checkout registers as well as Buy Online Pick-Up In Store and curbside options, per the release. The new format aims to streamline operations and adapt to evolving customer shopping preferences.
