The details
The practice will offer minimally invasive elective procedures, compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide medications for weight loss, and hormone replacement therapy, Gallegos said.
Elective procedures that will be offered at the Missouri City clinic include:
- Hyaluronic fillers
- Botox injections
- Laser skin resurfacing and rejuvenation
Gallegos, who lives in the community, said she is trained in emergency medicine, serving as chief of emergency medicine for The Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston.
"My leadership role has really allowed me to focus my expertise where emergency medicine and woman's health meet," she said. "I'm very passion about women's health and supporting women through all stages of life, which is what led me to create this clinic. I wanted a space where instead of being in the hospital setting and, kind of, quickly meeting patients, I would be able to build more lasting patient relationships and really be able to offer women support that sometimes they're not getting."
What else?
Due to her medical background, Gallegos said it is important for her to provide a safe clinic, with every service provided by a medical professional.
"I really wanted to provide for the community a safe space with high-quality services, where they know they're not getting illegitimate or illegally obtained products," she said.
