Sylvan Learning offers tutoring services from its new location in Sugar Land’s Greatwood community.
What it offers
Owned by franchisee Zibaa Gowani, the business offers supplemental education for kindergarten through 12th-grade students. In addition to tutoring services, certified teachers also offer SAT and ACT test preparation, Gowani said.
“We have a really personalized tutoring approach compared to other companies, so we take in assessments, get kids' results and align them with what they need to learn, their specific learning gaps or if they’re ahead for their grade level, for example,” she said. “[We're] kind of continuing their learning journey where they are in their life.”
