Now openJames Avery, a retail jewelry chain, opened Feb. 19 at 10407 Hwy. 6, Ste. 120, Missouri City, in the Fort Bend Town Center II development.

The chain sells jewelry for both men and women online and at more than 114 dedicated stores across the U.S. James Avery stores can also be found in Dillards, military exchanges and in airports.

In addition to purchasing jewelry, customers can receive engraving consultations, on-site soldering and professional cleaning.

The Missouri City location employs 12 associates, a James Avery spokesperson said Feb. 20, and features the chain’s newest spring collection catalogue. 346-245-5490.

Now openDoubleDave’s Pizzaworks, a Texas-based pizza franchise, opened March 6 at 4875 Hwy. 6, Ste. C, Missouri City.

The eatery’s menu features hand-tossed pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, its signature pepperoni rolls and desserts. The Missouri City location will offer dine-in, delivery, curbside pickup and carryout for customers. 346-433-3283.

Coming soonMcAlister’s Deli plans to open in late 2023 in Fort Bend Town Center II at the intersection of Hwy. 6 and Fort Bend Parkway Tollway Road, a McAlister’s representative said via email.

The fast-casual restaurant will offer various sandwiches, salads, soups, loaded spuds and its famous sweet tea, according to the website. The restaurant chain has hundreds of locations across the U.S., including 100 in Texas alone.
