Sugar Land and Fort Bend ISD teaming up The Sugar Land City Council and the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees will hold a joint meeting at 5 p.m. to discuss legislative priorities and the area’s burgeoning growth. The meeting will take place in the FBISD Administration Building Board Room, 16431 Lexington Boulevard, Sugar Land.

Sugar Land Planning and Zoning discussing assisted living site The Sugar Land Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss amending the Holy Cross Episcopal Church planned development district zoning to include on the site an assisted living facility. The site is located at the northwest corner of West Riverpark Drive and Grand Parkway. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and will take place in the City Council Chambers at Sugar Land City Hall, 2700 Town Center Blvd. N. Fort Bend County Commissioners Court to meet The Fort Bend County Commissioners Court will meet at 1 p.m. to consider establishing guidelines and criteria for tax abatement agreements in Fort Bend County, along with other county business. The meeting agenda was not posted as of Friday, Feb. 10. Valentine’s dinner and lecture Couples are invited to the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land’s sixth annual Valentine’s Day event.
