Here's the latest information on four transportation projects in the Spring and Klein area. This list is not comprehensive.

Recently completed

Ella Boulevard, Falvel Road sidewalks

Project:
Approximately 1.5 miles of new sidewalk was constructed along Ella Boulevard and Falvel Road from FM 2920 to Sapling Trail Court. A school zone flashing light, additional school zone signage and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant pedestrian ramps were also added.

Update: According to an Oct. 25 news release, this project was completed in mid-October, and allows students to walk safely to and from Klein Collins High School, Schindewolf Intermediate School and Kreinhop Elementary School.

Stuebner Airline Road bridge over Cypress Creek

Project:
This project will repair substandard construction of the southbound departure lanes of the Stuebner Airline Bridge over Cypress Creek.

Update: This project is under construction.

Timeline: Estimated completion by the third quarter of 2025

Upcoming projects

Kuykendahl Road, Cypressdale Drive traffic signal


Project:
A new mast-arm traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of Kuykendahl Road and Cypressdale Drive.

Update: This project is in the design phase.

Timeline: Estimated completion by the second quarter of 2025

Stuebner Airline Road, Five Forks Drive traffic signal

Project:
A new mast-arm traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of Stuebner Airline Road and Five Forks Drive.
