Construction is nearing completion on a triplex home project in Spring by Hope’s Path—a nonprofit that helps young men ages 18-28 who have aged out of the foster care system—according to an Aug. 21 email from Executive Director Brandon Anderchuk.

A closer look

The triplex home will offer Hope’s Path program members a place to live independently while receiving program services. The triplex home’s interior walls, electrical and plumbing work, and painting is done, Anderchuk said.

Meanwhile, the next steps for the project are:
  • Installing cabinets and countertops
  • Inserting flooring
  • Landscaping work
Hope’s Path leaders have raised more than $200,000 out of the $225,000 needed for the project, and businesses have donated needed renovation supplies, Anderchuk said. Two volunteer days were held where community members assisted in the home’s construction.

“We are incredibly blessed and grateful for the community's support and are eager to showcase this beautiful home at our open house,” Anderchuk said via the email.

The triplex home was originally conceptualized as three separate tiny homes but was redesigned due to permitting in the fall.
