Based in Spring, NAM is a local nonprofit with a goal of meeting basic human needs through a "neighbors helping neighbors" philosophy. The organization provides assistance in the forms of food, shelter, health and education.
This upcoming bowl-a-thon is part of NAM's Survival Over Summer fundraising campaign. According to NAM, families and seniors tend to have more expenses over the summer, and the money raised from this campaign will go to helping provide much-needed services to those in need.
According to NAM, each team will comprise five players, and participants can register as a team for $150 or as an individual for $50. Registration includes two games, shoes and bowling balls.
Each player must raise a minimum of $50, and a fundraising page will be set up after registration. A tier list of prizes is available for participants who raise a certain amount of money.
The top individual fundraiser will get their pick of a Nintendo Switch or Beats headphones. The top team fundraiser will get a team party for 25 at iT’z.
