Faithbridge, a Christ-centered, multigenerational church in northwest Houston, broke ground on a new 24,170-square-foot student center Feb. 25, according to a news release.

The new student center will serve as a flexible space that can transform from a traditional worship venue with stained glass to host funerals and weddings to a black box geared for student worship, the release states.

Additionally, the student center will include 12 classrooms, including a dedicated classroom for special needs students; a sixth-grade auditorium, a senior and junior high auditorium; seven offices; an indoor gathering area; and an outdoor courtyard with open green space and amenities, according to the release. The project was designed by Studio RED Architects and is under construction by Axis Builders.

The 45-acre church campus is located at 18000 Stuebner Airline Road, Spring, and holds weekly Sunday services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. 281-320-7588. www.faithbridge.org
