'Hello, Dolly!'

Kohrville Community Outdoor Festival

The Kohrville Community Association will be hosting an outdoor festival to fundraise for a community center planned for 16817 Hufsmith-Kohrville Road, Houston. The event will feature food trucks; water activities for children; a car, truck and motorcycle show; raffles; face painting; games and a DJ. All proceeds will benefit the Kohrville Community Center. The Texas Tenors—which appeared on the show “America’s Got Talent” in 2009—will be celebrating their 15th anniversary of singing together at a show hosted by the Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment. A book club-style discussion on unsolved true crime cases is held on a monthly basis at the Barbara Bush Branch Library. Each month features a discussion of a new case, and attendees are sent information in advance to prepare for the discussion. The event is suitable for adults, according to the library’s website.
