Trinity Klein Lutheran Church will be marking the 150th year since its founding in 1874 in April. The church was started by a group of German immigrants, including the Klein community's namesake, Adam Klein, according to a March 9 email from a church representative.

To honor the church’s 150th anniversary, historical guided tours of Trinity Klein Cemetery will be held April 13, and a celebratory worship service will be held at 10 a.m. on April 14.

“The cemetery tour allows us to share about the beginning of our church, the congregants and the Klein Community,” the email reads.

Trinity Klein Lutheran Church’s congregation will also be celebrating the grand opening of its Restoring Hope Food Pantry building in April. The food pantry was founded in 2017, in response to Hurricane Harvey, and previously operated out of the church.
