An affordable housing development is set to hold its grand opening on Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. in the Spring-Klein area, a developer confirmed.
The details
Saddle Creek Village is a 72-unit multifamily affordable housing complex, Natalie Foglio, operations coordinator for Stewardship Development, said in an email. The complex will have one-, two- or three-bedroom apartments available for households that earn 60% or less of the area median income, per previous Community Impact reporting.
According to the complex’s website, the development will offer:
An afterschool learning center
Bike storage
Community clubhouse
Courtyard
Playground
Two dog parks
The development broke ground in 2024 with funding from the American Rescue Plan Act, a federal pandemic relief fund. Saddle Creek Village is part of the county’s goal of developing and preserving multifamily housing to create long-term affordability.
