Harmony Public Schools officials held a grand opening Nov. 13 for a new campus in City Place, according to a news release.

Harmony Public Schools officials celebrated the grand opening of Harmony Science Academy-City Place in Spring on Nov. 13.

“This campus represents our commitment to academic excellence and innovation,” said Elyse Pravel, principal of Harmony Science Academy-City Place. “We are excited to serve the City Place community and provide a world-class education to our students.”

Harmony Public Schools is a Texas-based public charter school system with a curriculum that focuses heavily on STEM skills, character education, project-based learning and college readiness, as previously reported by Community Impact. While charter schools are free of tuition, students must apply to attend the school and are selected through a lottery system if there are more students who apply than spots are available.

The new campus soft opened in mid-August for the start of the 2025-26 academic school year.
