To be eligible for enrollment, prospective students must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2020. Students who are already enrolled in KISD's pre-K program will already be registered for kindergarten in the upcoming school year.

Documents required for enrollment include:
- Proof of identity for the student, such as a birth certificate
- A complete immunization health record from a licensed physician at the time of registration
- Proof of residence in KISD, such as a lease agreement, electric, water or gas bill with the name and address of parent or guardian (telephone bills cannot be accepted)
