In an effort to limit possible coronavirus exposure, the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce has canceled its upcoming Knowledge Series and Networking Breakfast event, which were originally planned for March 19 and 24, respectively, according to a March 12 statement by chamber President and CEO Bobby Lieb. The HNWCC has also postponed its Economic Outlook Forum, originally to be held April 2, and is working to establish a later date for the annual event.
According to the statement, the fate of the chamber's April events will be decided accordingly following future coronavirus developments; committee meetings, however, are expected to continue as normally scheduled.
