Fein, a development company specializing in multifamily communities, has acquired 21.4 acres of land in City Place, with plans to develop a multifamily housing community called Echo Lake, officials announced in a Jan. 24 news release.

The details

Echo Lake will consist of 326 residential units offering apartments ranging from 556-1,824 square feet in size, according to the release. About 40% of the units will consist of one- to three-bedroom townhomes with garages.

Officials noted the property is situated around a 1.25-acre lake with walking, hiking and biking trails.

What they’re saying

“Echo Lake will have a value rental price point to accommodate the range of corporate employees living in and around City Place,” said Rebecca Luks, vice president of development at Martin Fein Interests, in a statement.

What’s next?

Construction on Echo Lake is slated for late 2024, according to the release. A projected opening date for the community had not been announced as of press time.
