As of July 30, 3,101 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed across nine Spring- and Klein-area ZIP codes, according to data reported by Harris County Public Health. This number has increased by 62 cases since July 29 and includes 1,212 active cases, 1,856 recoveries and 33 deaths.
Since July 10, the 77090 ZIP code has reported a total of five deaths from COVID-19, however July 21 data reported one less death. Community Impact Newspaper has reached out to Harris County Public Health and the City of Houston Health Department on why the 77090 ZIP code has one less death than what was reported prior to July 21.
As of July 30, Harris County Public Health reported a total of 70,850 confirmed cases in Harris County–including 46,678 active cases, 23,465 recoveries and 706 deaths. Comprehensive data for Harris County can be found here.
