As of July 26, 2,889 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed across nine Spring- and Klein-area ZIP codes, according to data reported by Harris County Public Health. This number has increased by 85 cases over the weekend since Friday, July 24 and includes 1,142 active cases, 1,716 recoveries and 31 deaths.
Since July 10, the 77090 ZIP code has reported a total of five deaths from COVID-19, however July 21 data reported one less death. Community Impact Newspaper has reached out to HCPH on why the 77090 ZIP code has one less death than what was reported prior to July 21.
As of July 26, Harris County Public Health reported a total of 65,349 confirmed cases in Harris County–including 43,219 active cases, 21,485 recoveries and 644 deaths. Comprehensive data for Harris County can be found here.
