The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce has released an online survey to assess how local businesses have been affected by recent developments regarding the current coronavirus pandemic. The HNWCC asks northwest Houston businesses to complete the six-question survey, which can be found here.

State- and county-level officials have taken legislative action in an effort to curb the spread of the virus, such as Gov. Greg Abbott's March 19 executive order closing restaurants' dine-in services, bars, gyms and other businesses. In addition, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner issued a "Stay Home-Work Safe" mandatory order on March 24, requiring all Harris County residents to stay home and limit non-essential travel.
