Lauren Whitton said she plans to open a storefront for her online candle business March 29 in Old Town Spring.
How it happened
Whitton said Blossom & Cove Candle Company was founded as an online business in 2022 after her father passed away and she was reminded "we are not promised tomorrow."
The candle company started selling its products at small farmers markets and online before Whitton decided to open a brick-and-mortar shop.

Blossom & Cove Candle Company offers hand-poured soy candles and wax melts in a variety of seasonal scents.
“We are overjoyed to announce the grand opening of Blossom & Cove Candle Company’s very first storefront,” Whitton said in an email. "This all started when the Lord placed a calling on my heart—to create a space filled with light, warmth and intentional products that bless the home.”
