Wakit Rakit officials said the padel club opened its second location in the Spring area in August. The first original Wakit Rakit opened in the summer at Florida's Space Coast.

Wakit Rakit officials said the padel-only facility features four courts and offers beginner-focused programming including:
- intro to padel classes
- Social nights
- Leagues
- Open play
Court bookings and class registration are available online. No experience or equipment is needed for beginner classes and loaner rackets are provided.

The racket sport is played in doubles on enclosed courts, officials said. According to the International Padel Federation, more than 35 million people play across 150 countries.
"Padel is the most social sport we know, every match needs four people, so it's almost impossible to leave without new friends," CEO Ryan Higgins said. "The whole Houston area is about to discover this sport, and Spring is early."
Through its sister company Wakit Padel, the group also supplies and finances padel courts for clubs and facilities nationwide.
