Station No. 3 of the Klein Volunteer Fire Department plans to staff firefighters overnight starting in 2020, making it the third Klein VFD station to implement overnight staffing. Located at 9755 Landry Blvd., Houston, the station has been under construction to accommodate overnight staffing since August and is expected to be completed in March.

In addition to constructing a new training facility, the new facility will implement individual dorms and a kitchen to accommodate the overnight firefighters. While the station is under construction, services will continue as normal. Station No. 3 currently has 29 volunteer firefighters on staff and services the neighborhoods of Champions Forest, Colony Creek, Memorial Chase, Gleannloch Farms, Memorial Creek, Charterwood and Majestic Oaks.
