At 1 p.m. on Thursday, OakBend Medical Center re-opened its Williams Way facility at 22003 Hwy. 59, Richmond. The hospital will have limited services available, including labor and delivery and emergency services.
The Jackson Street Campus remains open and is currently accepting patients. Access to the
hospital is limited through the Emergency Care Department.

OakBend Health Systems, an independent community hospital based in Fort Bend County, is under a Code Grey Disaster due to Hurricane Harvey, according to a release issued Monday afternoon.
The Williams Way campus will undergo a coordinated evacuation throughout the day to the Jackson Street campus. The following locations are closed through Friday, Sept. 1:
- Grand Parkway ER
- Hospital for Surgical Excellence
- Ambulatory Surgery Centers
The Jackson Street campus is at capacity, according to the release, and the decision has been made to restrict access areas to the Jackson Street Hospital. However, if it is necessary to access the hospital, individuals are urged to use the emergency entrance.
