As Tropical Storm Beta brings rain to the Houston area, schools districts have closed, and municipalities have warned residents to be careful. The city of Friendswood posted a Sept. 22 update to its social media, warning residents in the 100-year flood plain to prepare for an evacuation, should the need arise.


Here is a look at how much rain different Friendswood hot spots have received in the last 24 hours as of 10 a.m. Sept. 22. The data is sourced from the Harris County Flood Warning System and the city of Friendswood.
