Hughes Ranch Road construction is set to end in July. The project began in January 2019, and road closures started in May 2020. The project will convert Hughes Ranch Road from a two- to a four-lane road with a median and curbs from Smith Ranch Road to Cullen Parkway.

The project costs $18 million and is funded by state and federal funds.
