Residents can now submit candidate applications for Friendswood mayor and Friendswood City Council positions.
A general election will be held May 1 for mayor and council positions 1 and 3.
Mike Foreman is mayor and has already indicated he intends to run for re-election. Steve Rockey holds Position 1, and Trish Hanks holds Position 3.
Prospective candidates can pick up a packet of information at Friendswood City Hall, 910 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, during regular office hours. The information can also be found on the city’s website.
