Galveston County awarded the contract for Friendswood Lakes Boulevard construction to Angel Brothers Construction.

The project involves designing a four-lane road that will connect the road to the existing Friendswood Lakes Boulevard as it intersects West Boulevard in League City.

The project is breaking ground in September and is set to end around late May or early June 2021. The project is funded by developers, the city of Friendswood and Galveston County and is set to cost $4.27 million.
