Christian Helping Hands and SEVA Clinic received the permit from the city of Pearland in April to begin work on their new building. Christian Helping Hands will have a 9,000-square-foot space in the new facility; SEVA Clinic will have 2,250 square feet. Both Christian Helping Hands and SEVA Clinic have outgrown their existing spaces in Pearland, Christian Helping Hands founder Hita Dickson said.
The new building will be located at 4305 Magnolia Parkway, Pearland. Dickson hopes construction will be completed by December, she said in a press release.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Christian Helping Hands has fed more than 25,500 individuals in Pearland and has added 25 more volunteers. SEVA Clinic has served over 1,000 patients virtually during the pandemic, Dickson said in the release.
