Memorial Hermann Pearland finished the final part of its expansion in May. Staff celebrated the opening of the new center before social distancing standards were in place. Additions to the center located at 16100 Hwy. 288, Pearland, include a 16-bed Clinical Decision Unit for emergency room patients who may need additional tests, treatment or observation. The hospital also added 11 new beds to the emergency room for a total of 27 ER beds. Three of those beds are for trauma rooms. 713-413-6500. www.memorialhermann.org
