Brazoria County is reporting 55 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases June 18, the largest number of new cases the county has reported in one day, so far.

The county is also reporting seven recoveries and one death, bringing the total deaths in the county to 14.

Of the 55 confirmed cases, two cases are individuals 0-9 years old, seven are 10-19 years old, 14 are 20-29 years old, 14 are 30-39 years old, nine are 40-49 years old, six are 50-59 years old, two are 60-69 years old and one is 70-79 years old.

Of the 55 confirmed cases, 13 of the individuals are Pearland residents, 15 are Alvin residents, four are Angleton residents, six are Manvel residents, one is an Iowa Colony resident, six are Lake Jackson residents, three are Freeport residents, one is a Clute resident, two are Rosharon residents, one is a Sweeny resident, one is a West Columbia resident, one is a Danbury resident and one is a Brazoria resident.
