Each year, the Texas Education Agency releases data on individual school districts from exam scores to percentage of economically disadvantaged students.

State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness scores show Friendswood ISD excels across different grades and subjects with nearly 90% or more students approaching grade level. FISD also saw enrollment numbers increase at its two elementary schools during the 2021-22 school year.



Across C.W. Cline Elementary School, Windsong Intermediate School and Zue S Bales Intermediate School, all of which offer third- and fourth-grade classes, reading and math scores were significantly higher than the state average.

The percentage of economically disadvantaged students at all elementary and intermediate schools was significantly lower than the state average.



At Friendswood Junior High School, STAAR scores across all seventh- and eighth grade exams were significantly higher than the state average.


Similarly to the elementary and intermediate schools, the percentage of economically disadvantaged students was substantially lower than the state average.



Friendswood High School’s STAAR scores continued the trend of being sizably higher than the state average. The high school had a graduation rate of 99.8% for the 2021-22 school year.
