Applications open for Pearland Restaurant Weeks

Applications have opened for Pearland restaurants to apply to participate in Pearland Restaurant Weeks 2023, which will take place Nov. 1-30.

Launched last year, this is the second year of Pearland Restaurant Weeks. In 2022, 16 Pearland restaurants participated in Pearland Restaurants Weeks, and this year the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau hopes to nearly double that number, said Tracy Rohrbacher, Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau executive director.

Interested restaurants have until Sept. 23 to apply and submit a $100 donation through Visit Pearland’s website.

The submitted menus must either be in the prix fixe format or a specialty-priced bundle, i.e. entree with a side and a drink, etc.

A portion of every Pearland Restaurant Weeks meal sold will be donated to the Pearland Neighborhood Center, a nonprofit that provides utility assistance, rent assistance and food to families in need in Brazoria County. The donation rate is $2 per $20 breakfast or lunch and $4 per $35 dinner.

The Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau will promote participating restaurants on its website and social media channels during Pearland Restaurant Weeks.
