Brazoria County reported eight new cases of COVID-19 and seven recoveries on May 27. This brings the total number of cases in the county to 861.

The total case count breaks down to 390 active confirmed cases, five probable cases, 454 recoveries and 12 deaths.

The cases reported May 27 include two Pearland residents, five Alvin residents and one Manvel resident. Two of the patients are under 10 years old, two are under 20 years old, two are 30-39 years old, one is 40-49 years old, and one is 50-59 years old.
